Lost or Stolen Cards

What do you do if your card is lost or stolen?
Take these steps when your Visa® card or ATM card has been lost or stolen.

Visa® Credit Cards
To report lost or stolen cards:
  • During normal business hours, call:

  • After-hours, call:
    Dial Toll-Free: 800-991-4965
After-Hours Support:
For Credit Card issues such as declined transactions, authorizations, and temporary blocks:
  • Select 'option 8' after dialing any main Seven Seventeen phone number;  or
  • Dial Toll-Free: 1-866-446-0771
Visa® Debit Cards or ATM Cards
To report lost or stolen cards:
  • During normal business hours, call:

Additional steps to take if your card has been lost or stolen:

  • If you believe your card has been stolen, file a police report.

  • Notify the three major credit bureaus in writing.

  • Close or put restrictions on any accounts that you believe were tampered with.

  • Protect yourself from identity theft! As of March 1, 2005, Ohioans are able to get a FREE annual credit report from each of the three major credit bureaus. Other areas of the country will become able to get a FREE credit report based on a schedule set up by the Federal Trade Commission.

    You can order your FREE annual credit report (or see when your area of the country is able to order one) through a central Web site set up by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC): www.annualcreditreport.com. Be sure to go directly through the FTC site to get a free report. If you go to each of the individual credit bureau sites, you will be charged for your credit report!

    If you have already received your FREE credit reports for the year, but want to see another copy, you can order a copy of your credit report from each of the three major credit bureaus. Each credit bureau will charge you approximately $8-$9.
